Material
|
The materials of color boxes are divided into two categories: face paper and pit paper.
1. Face paper:
The commonly used face papers are: powder gray paper, gray copper, white copper, single copper, gorgeous card, gold card, platinum card, silver card, laser card, kraft paper, etc.
There are two kinds of white boards with white background: white copper and single copper. What they have in common is that both sides are white. The front side can be printed, but the back side cannot be printed.
Single copper:
both front and back sides have coated surface, both front and back can be printed.
Pink gray paper: one side is white, the other side is gray, and the price is low. Double pink paper is white on both sides, and the price is high. The commonly used lime paper
materials are generally 250g to 450g. Coated paper is generally 250g to 400g.
2. Pit paper: The basic structure of pit paper is a smooth piece of kraft paper and wavy paper (collectively referred to as paper core). Usually 120 to 160g, sometimes 200g paper is used. As for the paper core, it is completely recycled from waste paper, and its thickness has been changed from 130 to 160g to 100 to 140g.

Technics
|
Requirements for color box packaging:
1. The surface shall be clean and flat without wrinkles, damages, stains and impurities. The
font and pattern shall be clear and correct without misprint, omission and ink pollution.
2. The size shall conform to the specification, and the deviation shall be within the allowable range. The color box that needs to be filled with pit paper shall be qualified after trial installation.
3. The adhesive part of color box shall be tight and firm without looseness and crack.
4. The material and structure of the color box shall be consistent with the template or drawings.
Printing process:
1. Flexographic printing has the advantages of gravure printing and lithography. The process steps can be divided into online slitting, indentation, grooving, etc. Due to the flexibility of materials in the overall operation, the printing pressure will be too small. Therefore, the color box ink products are thick and clear. It is better to use paper with high printability and good surface gloss, or rough paper, thin and thick paper, light or strong ink absorption paper. Suitable for fine screen printing, line printing, spot color printing or on-site printing.
2. Gravure printing has the characteristics of high printability and fast printing speed. Gravure printing on color box has thick ink layer, rich ink color, strong stereo sense, rich layers, strong texture, fast drying speed, and is suitable for large area heavy ink printing. Gravure printing process has small color difference and stable printing quality. However, due to the complexity of gravure plate making, high materials and costs, and inconvenient plate changing operation, gravure printing is mostly used for packaging and printing of large quantities of goods, which can reduce costs.
3. Offset printing adopts multi-color multi-function roller/paper machine operation, suitable for batch production, with stable structure, packaging products, face paper printing, and then
installation and pasting through the corrugated production line. We use a flat paper machine for offset printing, with a speed of up to 10000 sheets/h, which is suitable for small batch production. The selection and replacement size of face paper are flexible. Direct printing fine corrugated paper, high overprint accuracy and stable quality.
Color box packaging is divided into:
1. Heaven and earth cover and swing cover type paper box, which are pressed with tangent
lines according to different figures on the box surface, can open the box cover, so that you can see not only the goods, but also the decorative figures, words and trademarks on the box surface;
2. Window opening paper box, which can be divided into three forms: partial window opening, transparent box cover and multi side transparency. It is generally used in combination with transparent plastic sheet, and the window opening part shows the goods; 3. For portable paper boxes, some commodities are packed in large volumes. To facilitate the carrying of customers, a handle is added to the paper box. The handle is designed to be
foldable as far as possible, which is convenient for transportation and does not occupy too much area;
4. Special carton. Thespecial-shaped cartons are mainly triangular, pentagonal, rhombic and hexagonal.
